Questions:
I'm I too Short To BMX?
Is My Bike Good?
Is my Chain Stays To High?
What other Customizations/Mods Should I Do?
To the guy above me, ur an idiot.
Your top tube length is great for flatland. It could be slighty shorter, but don't bother buying a new frame, just to save half an inch on your top tube.
Your cranks are street-riding cranks, being 170mm. Flatland cranks are usually anywhere between 150-160, but for the tricks you will start out learning, 170's are fine.
Your sprocket is definitely too big. Get urself a 25-23t sprocket. It will make pedalling out from tricks much easier, and riding up hills will be easier, BUT... it will be harder to build up speed. But if ur using ur bike for Flatland, it will make ur riding better.
lol I just read ur add-on to the end of your Question. You already changed most of these parts. Ha ha
Great tyres, good brakes, good forks, raised seat post is perfect for Flat.
Your height will make things harder to learn, for some tricks, but unless you can get urself a KGB frame at 18", with the smallest Flatland parts available, you will have to get used to the frame you have. Don't worry, though, you will grow into it, as you get older.
Your bike is a lot better now you have the mods, but look into getting some shorter forks. I like the St. Martin Hollo-Flat cranks, at 145mm. You can get them in some funky colours on www.flatlandfuel.com. Get urself a short stem while ur at it. 26mm is good, and 35mm is good, too.
Your chain stays are long, at 14.5. Mine are considered long for Flatland, at 13.5, but again, unless you change ur frame, which can be expensive, you just have to get used to it.
Get some light pegs if you can. Regular pegs (street pegs) can be heavy.
I would suggest you save your money up and get urself a new Flatland frame at some point. You will feel a HUGE difference between a street frame and a Flatland frame. The whole bike is about an inch shorter at the wheel base, the headtube is steeper. It allows yo uto pop up into front wheel tricks much easier, and with a shorter base, tricks like rolling tailwhips are a lot easier.
hope you have fun with Flatland, it's awesome fun..!!
