Trek, Motobecane, GT, Mongoose, or Schwinn...What is recommended MTB?
Based on rank, quality, and opinion which one is better? It's more for adventure racing so it will have to endure a bit of a beating .
I'm new but I'd like to start of with a quality bike to grow with.
Can anyone comment on Ironhorse? How is that brand?
It's not the manufacturers you want to worry about, look into the specs of the bikes themselve. Granted with a giant you will get more bike for money due to them being a bigger company as with trek, but don't discount the smaller brands like cove, santa cruz etc.
If you're looking for an all rounder bike depending on what you are doing you will be looking at getting either a high end hardtail (front sus only) or a full suspension. I'd reccomend a hard tail myself as you get more for your money and will inevitably become a better rider.
