What do you think of this hardtail?
this is the bike i am getting, here is the spec: dark blue specialized 15" frame syncros wheel set with maxxis tyres hayes disc brakes raceface prodigy crank single speed with sram rear mech 8 speed rockshox tora 130mm travel forks hope headset selle itilia saddle specialized stem,bars and seat post. im getting it for 200 quid second hand but in good condition it is the specialized hardrock 08.
would it be all right for dh? but not to hardcore.

The Hardrock is not a bad frame. Disc brakes as well as SRAM kit. Not bad. The Rockshock Tora is a nice fork. So overall a good package. The 130mm forks should give you a good time around trail centers and the chainset is from a good manufacturer.
Why only £200 for this kit. Not nicked is it?
I would look at more up front before I considered downhill. At least 160, but realistically over 200 on the front. Single track should be good. As I said, it is not set up as a sleek XC race machine. It is more suited to trail centers, where 130mm will be able to handle the technical stuff.
